For travelers

Earn money from your unused luggage space

Most travelers fly with allowance to spare. Post your flight on HelicopterShare, list how many kilos you can carry, and senders on your route will message you. You agree the fee, inspect the item, and hand it over when you land.

Use what you already paid for

Turn unused checked or cabin allowance into cash.

You choose every item

Accept only what you have seen and are comfortable carrying.

No commission

The platform is free — the whole fee goes to you.

How carrying works

Post your flight with route, date and available weight. Senders request a connection, you chat and agree a fee, and you meet before departure for an open-inspection handover. After landing you meet the recipient, both sides mark the delivery done, and reviews unlock to build your rating.

How much you can earn

Fees are agreed directly and usually track item size and urgency — small documents at the low end, several kilos of electronics or gifts at the high end. Highly-rated travelers on busy corridors get more requests and can charge more.

Staying safe and legal

Never accept a sealed package or anything you have not inspected. Refuse dangerous, illegal, restricted, or commercial-looking goods, and anything outside your personal allowance. Keep all conversation on-platform, meet in public places near the airport, and report anything suspicious.

Frequently asked questions

How can I make money from my luggage space?

Post your upcoming flight on HelicopterShare with the route, date and spare kilos. Senders on that route contact you, and you agree a carrying fee directly with them. The platform takes no cut.

How much do travelers charge to carry a parcel?

Fees are set between the two people. Light documents earn a small fee; several kilos on a busy international route earn considerably more. Urgency and rating both push the number up.

Is it legal to carry someone else's item on a flight?

It is legal to carry personal items you have inspected and can declare as your own baggage, within your allowance. It is never acceptable to carry sealed, undisclosed, restricted, or commercial goods.

What should I refuse to carry?

Anything sealed or unopened, batteries outside airline limits, liquids over allowance, cash, perishables, medication for resale, and anything the sender is vague about.

How do I get more requests?

Complete your profile with a real name and photo, post flights early, keep your available weight accurate, reply quickly in chat, and collect reviews after each completed delivery.

When do I get paid?

HelicopterShare does not process payments or hold funds. You and the sender arrange the fee and its timing directly between yourselves.
